In reference to our Corvid 19 preventive approach our Restaurant and Conference Facilities support the standardized approach of spatial separation. As our esteemed guest you are sitting in an open airy Restaurant, the Conference Halls are of big spaces with A/C and windows and additionally the garden guarantees enough space for every activity.

The hotel was first opened in 2002. After a fire destruction in 2009, we rebuilt the hotel within two years and re-opened it in 2012.

We offer you a professional service with everything your heart desires:
24 hours Room- and Reception-Service, direct beach access, overall wireless Internet, smoke-free restaurants and rooms, Business Centre, Secretarial Services and Airport Shuttle-Service.

The hotel is owned by a German family with a passion for going green and healthy products.
We provide you clean water from own wells processed by a water treatment plant and heated by the sun. Vegetable and fruits are directly from Oceanic Farm. Surely you will like our homemade products like bread, cakes, cookies, jam, yoghurt and much more.
The management attaches great importance to the comfort, health and security of the guests, providing e.g. high cleaning standards for kitchen, pool and hotel rest-rooms, video surveillance and own security staff.

Oceanic Bay Hotel & Resort is located at the magnificent unspoiled white sandy beach of the historical town of Bagamoyo - tranquil and peaceful - opposite to the island of Zanzibar, where you can stay in our new built sister hotel “Mandhari Villa Hotel & Resort” at Matemwe Beach.
